France advises nationals to leave Mali urgently during militant petroleum restrictions
France has issued an immediate advisory for its citizens in the landlocked nation to evacuate as quickly as possible, as militant groups continue their restriction of the state.
The French foreign ministry advised citizens to leave using commercial flights while they are still accessible, and to avoid overland travel.
